How would you play this diff

Working off my Poker Source Online promotion at Ultimate Bet, and it's been up and down, up and down.

Here's a big reason it's been down.

Is there anyway I could have played this differently outside of the preflop?

Personally, I would have made a standard raise preflop and that would have set the tone for the flop play. Let's say you raised about 3X the BB pre-flop. This may have chased away the J7 holder and you would have won. Granted you would have missed the flop but a good continuation bet would probably have been believable with a King on the board.

Setting the stage pre-flop is all important to get the weaker hands to fold and not give them a cheap peak at the cards.

Yeah, I'd been taking a beatdown at UB in raising pre-flop, thus I was on a bit of a tight streak with what hands I raised with.

Good news is the guy who took the money from me, gave it all back to me about 15 hands later. He was very very loose, and so I awardeded him a "green dot" on UB :)
